Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, the tourist village of Sumbergedang, Pandaan Pasuruan, experienced a drastic decrease in visitors, which greatly reduced their income. Meanwhile, in the village, water from the mountains is very abundant. Purpose and solution offered is to manage clear water in the village using Simple Appropriate Technology, namely making a tubing tube to fill the clear water which will later be processed into clean water. The clean water produced is ready to drink, and this will be a separate effort to increase the income of residents in the tourist village of Sumbergedang during the Covid-19 pandemic

Abstract

Community Service (Abdimas) this paper presents empowerment efforts for physical disabilities in the independent age category where they have their own entrepreneurs. There are 15 people who live in Surabaya and Sidoarjo, with the same problem, namely to improve their entrepreneurship. The first is the empowerment effort by providing a business capital loan of one million rupiah which will be returned five times. The form of the loan does not use interest, so it is not usurious, the second is taking care of the legality of their entrepreneurship, namely the Business Identification Number (NIB) for free, so that their entrepreneur is licensed/legally, and the third is giving donations in the form of basic necessities. All of this assistance is evaluated for three months to see the results. The results obtained from capital loans provide continuity of their entrepreneurship, although not high, the value of income from their business has increased by up to 15%. Meanwhile, the NIB they received was a 'weapon' as a license to do business. Meanwhile, basic food assistance can help their lives with the current condition of rising prices.

Abstract

The Cup Sealer machine, also known as a plastic cup sealing machine, is a device that seals plastic cups, preventing the contents from pouring into the glass. It also serves to keep liquids and things contained within them sanitary. This machine is frequently encountered operating on human power (manual). This study is a continuation of Community Service activities in the village of Sumbergedang Pasuruan. This machine design will be implemented in the village because the village has abundant clear/clear water that comes from Mount Penanggungan which has been processed into ready-to-drink water. The goal of this study is to create a plastic cup packaging machine that uses water from Mount Penanggungan in the village of Sumbergedang, Pasuruan, and then to improve the machine. The design uses SolidWork software with the input data being the cup sealer machine body component, the motor component for the sealing process, the cutter press component (plastic cutter when sealed), the ring component for the glass cup, and various extra components are used in the design. The results of the computation show that the design fits the requirements for moving forward with the production process.

Abstract

The trolley equipment that is typically used in malls or stores cannot be folded or bent to take up enough space for you to move it anyplace. Because using Solidworks software, the goal of this research is to develop a collapsible trolley. The Von Misses stress test was used to test folding and general purpose trolley frames for loads of 35 kgf, 245 kgf, and 875 kgf. According to the findings at a weight of 35 kgf, typical goods carts have a greater Von Misses stress of 796.6e+008N/m2. A regular goods trolley's high Von Misses stress is 7966e+009N/m2 at a weight of 245 kgf. On conventional goods trolleys, the Von Misses stress reaches 962.4e+009N/m2 at the maximal load, which is 875 kgf. Because folding trolleys use hollow iron, which is lighter, it follows that standard goods trolleys have a higher strength than folding trolleys, albeit folding trolleys are considerably more effective.

Abstract

Until now, manual trolleys that are used for goods or as a tool to help move goods from one place to another still use human power, The difference in the design of the trolley that I made and the trolley that is usually used at my research site is that the trolley can be folded which has the advantage of being a place to put the trolley and easy to carry the trolley either in two-wheeled vehicles or in four-wheeled vehicles. This research is based on ideas from the results of research in work areas such as malls, and minimarkets. The folding trolley that is being made at this time can withstand a compressive load test of up to 875kg with one damaged component, namely a broken wheel, while in a medium compressive load test of 245kg with a safe wheel condition there is no damage to the component but the occurrence of curvature on the middle of the trolley, the folding trolley which previously had a height from the tile to the bottom limit of the trolley which was 9cm and when given a moderate compressive load test of 245kg there was a bend of 0.3cm which means the current trolley height is 8.7cm and a low compressive load test was carried out with a loading press 35kg to 105kg the folding trolley does not change in height, which means the trolley is still 9cm. The final results show that this folding trolley can be used in the field.
